Braunschweig-Held Deniz Dogan goes to the MTV Wolfenbüttel

Deniz Dogan becomes the new coach of the MTV Wolfenbüttel, has signed a year-round contract applicable from 1 July. The 42-year-old ex-professional rose as a player with Eintracht Braunschweig from the 3rd league to the Bundesliga and came a total of 23 times in the upper house, 74 times in the 2nd Bundesliga and 98 times in Liga three used.

At Eintracht, the native Lübeck started his coaching career, first as CO-, then as head coach of the second team. From August 2020 to February 2021 Dogan Co-coach was the second division VfL Osnabrück.

2022/23 he returns to the first row. In Wolfenbüttel, Sportkoordinator Michael Nietz is looking forward to the part of the separation of Stefan Gehrke to summer as a coach, on the new man: “Deniz I appreciate as a quiet and prudent people with a high degree of football, factual and expertise.” Nietz will do everything until summer, that Dogan really takes over a fifthligist. But it should go wrong in the placement round, Dogan’s contract also applies to the sixth league.
