NFL | “Time has come”: Quarterback Roethlisberger finishes career

Star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has now officially finished his career after 18 years in the NFL.

“The time has come to clear my locker, I listen to football,” said the 39-year-old playmaker of Pittsburgh Steelers in a video message. Roethlisberger was eliminated with his team ten days ago in the playoffs of the North American Football Profiliga against Kansas City Chiefs.

Roethlisberger had already told the end of the main round that his NFL career ends after this season and he will stop after two super bowl titles with the steelers.

The 1.96 meter Roethlisberger, which celebrates his 40th birthday on 2 March, played in all the professional career since 2004 only for the Steelers. Twice he won the Team Super Bowl, 2011, the team lost the final against the Green Bay Packers.
